On April  12, 2018  Department of  History, School of Art and Humanities, the University of Georgia  hosted  the founder of  ‘SARAH  Foundation’ (Israel)  Reuven ben Shemesh, and representatives and the founder  of ‘Israeli House’ Itsik Moshe.

Three  Bachelor students of history department, presented  abstracts of their Bachelor Papers: Nino Guraspashvili  (Racial Policy of Nazi Germany (the Jews Question), Nino Khubulava (The Holocaust in Elie Wiesel Life), and  Tamriko Tsurtsumia (British Policy on Jews Immigration to Palestine (1929-1948). In May, 2018  the best presenter Nino Guraspashvili  will  visit  the  World Holocaust Remembrance Center - Yad Vashem Museum,  Jerusalem. All expenses  of  this trip will be covered by the ‘SARAH  Foundation’.  

Students, who study  the course: The Holocaust and Genocide in the Visegrad  Group Countries - Zurab Guliasvili, Nino Aslamazishvili, Sandro Tsutskiridze, and Davit Aliashvili , also, presented different topics. Reuven Ben Shemesh  established scholarship for  the students of this course too: at the end of spring  semester, 2018 two best students  will get  one time  scholarships. Mr.  Ben Shemesh  declared that ‘SARAH  Foundation’ will continue policy of one time  scholarships,  and funding  the  visit of the best student to Jerusalem, at least,  next two academic years. 

The president of the University of Georgia– Giuli Alasania,  students from the departments of history and international relations,  and  professors attended  the event.
